David Rogers

David plays melodeon and has been a long time member of Jack’s Maggot. He also plays regularly with the Towersey Folk Dance Club house band, the Black Dog band, and Aunt Sally's Delight and participates in tune sessions in the locality.

He plays regularly for the Oxford University, Oxford City and Crendon Morris sides and also occasionally for Towersey Morris. In the past he has also helped start Morris sides in Charlbury, Wheatley and Oakley.

David  also attended three workshops with Emanuelle Pariselle to build his own melodeons (1 x  one row and 2 x 2.5 row), which are now his preferred instruments, and also, some years ago, made a hammered dulcimer but not yet taught himself to play it proficiently.
